A Premier Cat (one that is spayed or neutered) must defeat 75 other Premiers and earn 75 points to win the title Grand Premiers. Also, a Premier cat must have at least one win of Best Premier, or Second Best Premier or Third best Premier or a final award of Best through Fifteenth Best Premier Cat in either a CFA specialty or Allbreed final in order to qualify for the title of Grand Premier. A cat must first earn six Winners ribbons in class competition (same breed) to earn the title Premier and then be eligible to compete in Allbreed Premiership. Six winners ribbons is fairly easy to win if there are no other competing cats of the same sex and color and the cat in question does not possess a major disqualifying fault; however it is difficult to earn the necessary 75 points required to win the title Grand Premier.
